We have fallen in love with campervan holidays, and we’ve tried a few different sized vans, companies and itineraries – and I can say without a doubt our trip in our JUCY condo was the best we’ve done so far. If you’re thinking of hiring a campervan then have a read of our review of our JUCY Condo!

JUCY hosted us for two weeks in this amazing green machine and it really was incredible. We loved exploring Tropical North Queensland in Connie Condo and we had the BEST time.
I know you all trust me and my recommendations and so while yes, this is technically a sponsored post, it’s also a very honest post. I do love JUCY and they do trump the other companies we’ve used in customer service, in suitability of product for us and in the ease of getting around. You can check them out here at the JUCY website.
Let me tell you what we loved the most:
Customer service: airport pickup + picking up the van
We picked up our van in Cairns, and JUCY runs a free shuttle bus from the airport to their pickup location, making it so super easy to get there and cutting back on unnecessary taxi spends.
The office has a nice little pick up zone with seats and a wall to write messages on, it’s so laid back and fun and the team is really casual and helpful. They allowed us to leave our suitcases in their storage room while we were gone (it saves SO much space) and were super excited for us and just really nice. The transaction was was super fast and we were on the road in 20 mins at the most (probably less but I wasn’t timing it).
Trustworthiness
I can’t go on about this enough – when we returned our van we left Emmie’s Apple pen in it somewhere, only realising when we got home. I called JUCY and they looked for the pen, found it and sent it to us express post! It was amazing customer service and honestly, this is like the biggest indicator of a company’s culture and commitment to their customers. Five stars for this. Thanks JUCY.
And it was especially great after our experience with the previous company when I left a cupboard of camera gear unpacked and it was “never found” and they didn’t care 🙁 This included gear still in the box from a stop at JB Hifi so it was especially annoying that it was never addressed. Anyway JUCY passed this (accidental) test with such flying colours. I love them.
Our JUCY Condo
We just LOVED our Condo. It can transport and sleep four with two double beds – one that transforms from the seats, and the other in a little rooftop alcove. While we didn’t actually need the extra space, Emmie wanted to sleep up the top and it did give us extra room that’s for sure.
What we loved most about Connie Condo:
- Super easy to drive
The size is great and it doesn’t feel like you’re driving a big van, cause really you’re not it’s just an extra-sized car. - The beds are super comfortable and easy to put up.
The beds are great and so comfy, much comfier than other van beds we’ve slept on. - There is enough space
There was enough space for the two of us without being too big or two small. It was just nice and compact, so we didn’t have to much gear out, we didn’t make a mess and everything was easy to reach. - There are fab inclusions
You don’t need to bring anything with you except your usual clothes, a book to read and camera gear. so much is provided including:
– sheets, pillows and a doona
– bath towels
– cleaning products
– a lounge and table inside
– a fridge
– cupboards with plates and cooking utensils
– a portable cooker
– chairs and table - We LOVED the portable cooker.
I have never cooked inside a van because I am so afraid of using the gas and making a mistake and blowing us up. But the portable cooker was so easy to use I cooked heaps on it from my almond milk latte each, to steak and sausages for dinner. It was so easy even I could use it and all the cutlery and equipment is included. - Other inclusions
We also had two chairs and a table and literally that was all be needed. We took a blanket for the ground for Emmie to lay on if she wanted a snooze in the afternoon sun, and we were set. - JUCY cammeradie
Out on the road there’s a fab JUCY community. You’ll see other green and white machines driving around or at camping grounds and caravan parks and just because you’re in the same vans you’ll wave, honk and fist pump as you pass, and have big chats when you see each other in towns and parks.
What wasn’t perfect:
The two little negatives with the van to point out is that our automatic door lock and open button didn’t work on our van which wasn’t a drama, just more an annoyance. And to note, the position of the power points near the seat means that while you can fit an ipad charger and normal plug in, the stupidly large Mac plug doesn’t fit. I charged mine at caravan park offices so it was fine (and I didn’t do much work anyway). So maybe pack a small extension cord if you have a big corded mac plug.
Overall we absolutely love JUCY and we will definitely book with them for our next trip around the Sunshine Coast and then to Brisbane.
It was our first time using a JUCY camper and we loved it. I’m super happy to endorse JUCY and – HAPPY CAMPERVANNING!
