Afternoons and weekends are so much more fun these days because we have a trampoline! And we love it. It’s from Vuly Play and it’s just been amazing these school holidays – for Emmie and for me. There’s nothing like telling kids to go jump on the trampoline and having them have fun out there for ages.

Emmie and her friends have been obsessed with the trampoline all holidays and have spent so much time on it – from jumping and playing, and being sprayed with water, and laying in the shade reading books and having a picnic inside under the shade.
They love jumping on it because, they say, it’s so bouncy and so easy to jump on, unlike other trampolines that are hard or drawn so tight that it’s difficult to get a bounce.
The side walls make them feel super safe – as well as the self-closing door – so they feel secure to bounce high and not feel like they may jump out. I love that the sunshade gives them so much shade they’re unlikely to get sunburnt, and they do into because it means they can jump longer.
The sunshade also keeps them cooler than having direct sunlight which means I’m not worried about them overheating and they stay on the trampoline for longer (win-win!).
I love that the trampolines springs are outside of the net so there’s no chance of trapping little hands and feet. And the door doesn’t need to be zipped as the sides overlay – its self-closing –and that it makes it so much safer. This is really important because previously with zipping doors I’ve had times when Emmie or her friends (usually the last man in) forgets to zip up and has fallen out, or she has pulled it so hard when it was stuck that it’s broken.
Setting it up was super easy – it took my friend Gemma and I only 45 minutes – with no arguments or frustration. In fact, we LOVED the accomplishment of setting up a trampoline together. Hooray for us. When we needed to move it it was easy to carry – which is so good because in yards you need to be able to easily move trampolines around to protect the grass.
We are so super happy with our Vuly Play trampoline. The kids are happy and entertained, I’m happy because it’s safe and secure and the shade keeps them out of the sun. It’s the best!
