We’re just back from a super fun science-themed mini-break in Canberra, Australia’s capital city – known for its Parliament House, man-made lakes, summer nats racing and National Gallery…and, as I discovered, it is filled with fun activities for little kids and big kids (yep, us adults) as well as a hefty layer of orange autumn leaves at this time of year.
It seems like everyone is off to Disneyland. How exciting! Disneyland had never even registered with me before having Emmie and then we went when she was two and it was the most incredible experience…our fifth trip is coming up this October and we honestly can’t wait.
What is it about palms that makes them so loveable? Is it because they’re tropical and make us remember beachside holidays, romance and past adventures? That they reach and stretch for the sky?
I am on that big fluffy cloud nine after my trip with Emmie to Borneo. It was a trial for our big trip overseas next year and after this adventure I really feel like I can do it! We can be a travelling team!
